HEAD OF DEPARTMENT'S WELCOME ADDRESS

It is with great pleasure, on behalf of staff and students of the Department of History and International Studies, Anchor University, Lagos, that I welcome our esteem visitors, prospective students and the global community to our Department. Our Department is rooted in reconstructing the past, expanding, enhancing and strengthening our students’ knowledge in new and emerging fields in historical scholarship.

The Department is endowed with the curriculum and an academic staff members that seek to equip and prepare our students to solve societal and global challenges as well as contributing their quota for a better society. Our Department offers 4 years (UTME) and 3 years (Direct Entry) programmes for the award of B.A. Degree in History and International Studies.

The Department is housed in Anchor University, Ayobo; our environment is safe, peaceful and conducive for learning and research work. We are glad to welcome you to our Department. We look forward to a fruitful working relationship as you make the Department your first choice.
