Anchor University, Ayobo, Lagos, has pledged its unwavering commitment to fully adhere to the regulations set by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for the conduct of its Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME) admission screening exercise for the 2024 academic session.
In a recent media chat, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Bandele, emphasized that the university will strictly follow all JAMB guidelines during the online screening, which is set to begin on August 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. daily.
Prof. Bandele assured that Anchor University has always maintained the highest standards in its admissions process and will continue to do so. He highlighted the importance of adhering to the established regulations to avoid potential challenges that could affect students' future academic pursuits.
"Anchor University has never compromised on the admission standards as outlined by the regulatory body, and we will uphold these standards this session as well," the Vice Chancellor stated.
He further expressed excitement about the increasing interest from candidates who have selected Anchor University as their first choice, while urging all applicants to adhere to the admission procedures.
Prof. Bandele also encouraged candidates wishing to change their first choice of institution to Anchor University to do so via JAMB. He added that the university has set a minimum score of 150 in the UTME for eligibility in the Post-UTME screening.
Additionally, he reminded all candidates to ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB portal, as failure to comply could hinder their admission process.
