Biography

Uduakobong Umoren is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Anchor University, Lagos. He obtained his B.Sc and M.Tech degrees in the University of Uyo, Uyo and Federal University of Technology, Akure respectively with publications resulting from those degree programmes; and presently carries out teaching and research duties in the University. He is also involved in the assessing of students’ course work, examination set up, marking and grading of students, providing advice and support to the students as well as administrative tasks for the department and University as a whole. Key competences and skills include IT skills, training and research. He currently teaches undergraduate courses such as Formal methods & software development, Operating systems, Digital logic design, among others; while maintaining research interests in Recommendation systems, Machine learning and information systems.
