01 Business Administration View Requirements
UTME Requirements
Five credit passes at SSCE or equivalent in English, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects.
JAMB Subjects
English, Economics, Mathematics, and any other relevant subject.
Direct Entry
Two A'level passes including Economics. NCE or HND credit passes in relevant subjects plus five SSCE credits or equivalent may be considered.
Remarks
JAMB Direct Entry may include two A'level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Management, Mathematics, Geography, and Statistics.
02 Accounting View Requirements
UTME Requirements
Five credit passes at SSCE or equivalent in English, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects.
JAMB Subjects
English, Economics, Mathematics, and any other relevant subject.
Direct Entry
Two A'level passes including Economics. NCE or HND credit passes in relevant subjects plus five SSCE credits or equivalent may be considered.
03 Economics View Requirements
UTME Requirements
An acceptable UTME score and credit passes in five SSC subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other social science subjects, in not more than two sittings.
JAMB Subjects
English, Economics, Mathematics, and any other relevant subject.
Direct Entry
Five SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and Economics, plus one of: a merit pass in a diploma in Economics; two relevant passes at Advanced Level; passes in two major relevant subjects in the NCE; or two passes at JUPEB or IJMB. Direct Entry is a three-year programme.
04 Finance View Requirements
UTME Requirements
Five credit passes at SSCE or equivalent in English, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two relevant subjects.
JAMB Subjects
English, Economics, Mathematics, and any other relevant subject.
Direct Entry
Two A'level passes including Economics. NCE or HND credit passes in relevant subjects plus five SSCE credits or equivalent may be considered.
05 Political Science View Requirements
UTME Requirements
Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Government or History, and any other two relevant subjects, obtained in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent in not more than two sittings, with an acceptable UTME score. Candidates are expected to be at least 16 years of age.
JAMB Subjects
English and any three relevant subjects.
Direct Entry
Five O'Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Government or History, plus one of: two A-Level passes in relevant subjects (GCE, IJMB, JUPEB or equivalent); an OND with a minimum of Lower Credit; an NCE with a minimum of Merit; or equivalent qualifications from recognised institutions.
06 Mass Communication View Requirements
UTME Requirements
An acceptable UTME score and credit passes in five SSC subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and three arts or social science subjects, in not more than two sittings.
JAMB Subjects
English and any three relevant subjects.
Direct Entry
Any one of the following, in addition to five SSC credit passes including English Language and Mathematics: a merit pass in a diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism or a related discipline; two relevant passes at Advanced Level; passes in two major relevant subjects in the NCE; or two passes at JUPEB or IJMB. Direct Entry is a three-year programme.
07 International Relations View Requirements
UTME Requirements
Credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Government or History, and any other two relevant subjects, obtained in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent in not more than two sittings, with an acceptable UTME score.
JAMB Subjects
English and any three relevant subjects.
Direct Entry
At least five O'Level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and Government or History, plus one of: two A-Level passes in relevant subjects (GCE, IJMB, JUPEB or equivalent); an OND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a related discipline; an NCE with a minimum of Merit in relevant fields; or other equivalent qualifications acceptable to the University.
