Faith & Chapel
AUL is a Christian university rooted in faith, integrity and service. Our chapel is the heartbeat of campus, a space where the entire university community gathers to seek God, reflect and grow.
About the AUL Chapel
The AUL Chapel is situated at the centre of the main campus in Ayobo, Lagos — a deliberate architectural statement that faith is foundational to everything AUL does. The chapel seats up to 800 worshippers and features a purpose-built sanctuary with a choir gallery, state-of-the-art audio-visual system, and a prayer room.
Designed in a contemporary-African style, the chapel blends modern acoustics with culturally resonant aesthetics, creating a space that feels both sacred and welcoming to all.
Chapel Activities & Fellowships
There are many ways to engage with faith life at AUL beyond the Sunday service

Sunday Chapel Service

Chapel Choir
The AUL Chapel Choir leads worship during services and performs at major university ceremonies. Auditions are held at the start of each semester.

A student-led fellowship for Christian students. Regular meetings, Bible studies, evangelism outreaches and campus-wide programmes throughout the session.

Prayer Warriors Fellowship

Bible Study Groups
