AUL provides on-campus hostel accommodation in separate male and female residential blocks. All hostels are located within the main campus in Ayobo, Lagos, ensuring students are never far from lecture halls, the library or dining facilities.
Each hostel block is supervised by a resident Hall Warden and an assistant warden, who are responsible for the welfare of students and enforcement of hostel regulations.

Trained security personnel patrol hostels around the clock. Electronic access control on all hostel entrances.
Common study rooms are available on each floor for quiet, focused study sessions, especially during exams.
Each hostel block has a dedicated prayer room for students to observe their religious obligations.
24-hour power supply via generator backup. Individual room lighting and fan/AC outlets available.
Separate male and female hostel blocks each have toilet facilities looking clean everyday.
Curfew times and visitor sign-in procedures are set for each session and published in the Hostel Handbook issued at check-in. Confirm the current hours with your Hall Warden.
Hostels are shared study spaces. Quiet hours, conduct expectations and the process for reporting disturbances are set out in the Hostel Handbook.
Where and how residents may prepare food, and which appliances are permitted in rooms, are covered in the Hostel Handbook. Ask your Hall Warden before bringing an appliance.
AUL is a Christian university and applies a substance policy across all halls of residence. The full policy and its sanctions are set out in the Student Handbook.
Rooms are allocated each session after admission is accepted and the hostel fee is paid. Allocation criteria and the appeals route are handled by the Hostel Office.
Residents are responsible for the condition of their room and its furnishings. Reporting, repair and charging procedures are set out in the Hostel Handbook.

Accommodation applications are open only to students who have accepted an offer of admission to AUL.
Fill in the hostel application form on the Student Portal or collect a physical form from the Bursary.
Pay hostel fees and the caution deposit to the designated bank account. Bring your teller to the Bursary.
Room allocation letters are issued two weeks before the start of the academic session. Rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
