AUL supports researchers at every career stage to secure funding — from internal seed grants to competitive international awards. The Research Office offers guidance, proposal review, and administrative support for all applications.

IRF

AUL Internal Research Fund

UP TO₦500,000

The AUL Internal Research Fund (IRF) provides seed-funding for early-stage research projects and assists established researchers in generating preliminary data ahead of external grant applications. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis twice yearly.

ELIGIBILITY

All full-time and part-time academic staff at AUL.
Postdoctoral researchers affiliated with an AUL research centre may apply with a named staff supervisor.

DEADLINE

Applications close 31 October (Cycle 1) and 30 April (Cycle 2) each year.
